Our Team

Jeff Stroupe, Founder

After earning his degree in Landscape Horticulture from The Ohio State University, Jeff Stroupe began building the company that would become Landscapes by Terra. Jeff started small, working for clients who lived along the route he used to travel delivering papers in the mornings. Dependable since age 12 on a bike, Jeff proved even more so in his twenties on a skid steer. Word traveled, and soon Jeff was in charge of complex projects, satisfying client after client by turning their imagined backyard into a reality. Over 27 years of completing projects, Jeff has honed his skills in every phase of the design/implementation process and attracted some of the best talent in the green industry to serve with him. Jeff has received multiple award recognitions by Ohio Landscape Association for Outstanding Workmanship and Dedication to Excellence, Honor Award and Merit Awards. Reinforcing his dedication to highly skilled workmanship, he also received awards from the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association. He and his wife Mindy, an owner and key figure in LBT’s success, have two teenage daughters that they transport around the US for volleyball competitions. Recently they have added two high-spirited Jack Russel terriers to their family, Gracie and George.
