Walkways in Plain City, Ohio » Beautiful Backyard Transformation in Jerome Village

$50,000

This Plain City property in Jerome village Terra focused on designing and installing a multi-tiered patio along the back of the property. The layout of this backyard allowed us to play on the vertical design of this landscaping. Since this home was built on a slope, we needed to give easy access to the backyard from the garage. Natural stone slabs cascade down the side of the house and lead into the beautifully laid Sierra Beacon Hill Flagstone pavers. The dark accent banding was completed using Copthorne bricks in Basalt. The use of large platforms in the paver walkway design as you move down to the lowest level of the patio, instead of a series of steps, allows the area to appear more level and larger than it is. Around the far corner of the patio we built up a retaining wall, which can be used as built-in seating for the fire pit feature. The wall was constructed using Sierra colored Brussel Block stones. To finish the space off we added Kichler LED lighting built into the steps and throughout the design. This space is now well-defined and very functional for the homeowner to use.
