Paver Patios in Dublin, Ohio » Dual Purpose Backyard Design

2015

$70,000 Budget

Terra designed a new backyard patio space that included a retaining wall, accent pillars, built in fire feature and a secluded secondary space that could be accessed from the master bedroom. The retaining wall not only provides functionality by elevating the sloping backyard but also offers additional seating around the newly installed gas fire pit. These features we created using Brussel Block pavers. New plant material was designed into this project and installed to provide some screening and extra some color throughout the seasons.

In addition to more entertaining space the homeowners were looking for a private area that they could use to enjoy evenings or welcome the day. We incorporated a defined area that gave them access from the master but was still inclusive of the rest of the patio. The space was finished off with a 12 x 12 outback pergola from Berlin Gardens. The main footprint of the patio used Beacon Hill Flagstone with a Copthorne Basalt detail around the perimeter for an added touch.
